Beats With Hooks... New Standard?

Could it be that the only thing that really sells anymore is beats with hooks? Artists find that its the easy was to get a track thats pretty much half way done... And if you sample an acapella with a decent hook, you can change the vibe of the original song and have another hit single on your hands...

A lot of artists have hooks written for them anyway. Sampled hooks have become very popular though.

Remember people want little work to make a mixtape. Thats why they want beats with hooks. I have a sampled hook beat called "love for my city" you should check it out, along with the rest of my beats. I think i have the best beats on Beatswagger.com period.

Its not surprising. You can almost say its a form of ghostwriting. I personally do not endorse getting beats with just a hook each time. I think that can make the artist lazy in terms of writing. However, certain people will back certain artists that don't write and therefore need a hook already in place. So thats part of the reason why you have hooks already in place on these beats. Nothing new.
