how to get a good master

i use protools for my mix but send to adobe to max volume without distortion but is there a way to do this in protools, the reason i ask this cuzz my mix sounds cool to me when bounced out protools sound real low in some systems why is that so i send to adobe and mess wit the wave file there pm me if anybody knows the answer peace and thanks.........s b d music

i mix it in reason but i use t racks 2.0 to master crystal clear.!:p

iv heard that from a few people is that plugin that good i think i might try it out, when u do ur mix in reason do u use a mastering suite for ur final then t- racc for finale mastering thanks for that info all info is better than no info peace.......S B D MUSIC

some softwares don't allow final levels to be any louder than it's setting. Windows Media Player is one of them.

what are sum plugins that are good to get a good master besides t-racs i dont have that one are u compressing then a eq or limiter and eq or vice versa anything helps thanks for ur help



the reason i ask is i battle my beats to and damb near everbody beat on that site is way louder than mine and my mix levels when bounced out are cool and not peaking but i mean damb my beat is nowhere close to how loud theirs is and some of them are clear and loud but mine nowhere near it any thing helps

I used to have the same problem with this but after demoing and eventually purchasing izotope ozone 4 it's a one stop shop for all mastering in one plug in. Give that a try and tell me what you think. Check out my work too to get some examples of overall sound.

Just a Compressor and the Clipper in tracks 3 I use it on everything, my demos come out louder than Masterd Cds and stay clean. just gotta watch the perceived volume bar, it will let you know where ya at
