Rapper Entered Plea Deal With Prosecutors

There has been much secrecy surrounding rapper Young Buck and his upcoming jail term, but the details have finally emerged. According to reports, Buck agreed a plea deal with prosecutors to serve 18 months in jail after the IRS raid on his home in Nashville back in 2010.

Buck pleaded guilty to possessing firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon.

IRS agents reportedly recovered firearms at his home during the raid to repossess belongings over an unpaid $300,000 tax debt. Buck has been prohibited from carrying a firearm ever since he was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon after he stabbed a man at the VIBE Awards back in 2004. He will be sentenced formally on July 13th.

Rapper Busted For Brass Knuckles At Airport

Rapper 2 Chainz was arrested earlier today(May 22nd) at LaGuardia airport for possessing brass knuckles. TMZ is reporting that the Atlanta hip hop star had brass knuckles in his carry-on bag and was entering the Delta terminal for a flight to North Carolina, when TSA agents discovered the weapon.

He was then taken into custody by the authorities for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon.

Currently, 2 Chainz is still in police custody. According to a representative for the star, his legal team is working to handle the situation.

Rapper/Actor To Play Bounty Hunter In Comedy

Rapper T.I. has been hard at work over the past several months resuming his musical career following a year in prison, and the multi-talented star is about to re-ignite his burgeoning film career as well. Tip has been tapped to star in Universal Pictures' upcoming comedy Identity Theft.

T.I. will play a bounty hunter in the film, alongside Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy.

"Bateman's character becomes an unlikely companion for McCarthy's character after she steals his identity," says press materials for the upcoming project.

T.I. last appeared in 2010's Takers and has appeared on Kelsey Grammer's critically-acclaimed series "Boss."
